Welcome To my site!

Check out what i have created and updated since October 2009.

My original intention was to create a site showing all the V8 Supercars Scalextric produced since 2003

but its blown out to a little more lol.

You may add anything and everything Scalextric Australian V8 Supercars in the gallery!

Tell your friends and family about the site as the more members we have the more we put the

Scalextric Aussie V8s on the map.

I hope you have fun and enjoy the site!

May the Scalextric V8 Supercar force be with you :-)

Cheers

jo

About Me

I'm a keen hobby enthusiast from W.A, My passion for years has been(and still is) remote control....cars and heli's, electric and nitro. Then the kids come along. Eventually i'll get the kids into it but for the moment they are too young (2 and 4). the problem with RC is that you can't do it in the house or back yard( not at the level i'm at in the hobby) you need to head to the track or at least the park, and it needs to be in daylight hours. Now i find the only time i get for my hobbies is at night when they are sleeping! Enter scalextrics. Couple of weeks ago i stumbled across a small amount of slot car bits and pieces from when i was a boy, while i was cleaning out the shed. Set them up and bang another addiction to throw my money at! I can do it at night and indoors, perfect! Building, mods, painting and detailing are where my interests lay,I'm as aussie as they come, so V8's are the obvious choice. i'm now gathering all the info I need to build a replica super car track in the shed and start increasing the car collection. For the first time in my hobby career it is refreshing to find Australian based hobby. previously in R/C world all the decent items come from either U.S , U.K or japan which, takes time and patience to get what your after and often doesn't apply to australian way of life and conditions. I'm meticulous in my craft but very impatient when waiting for things to arrive. i'm keen to learn about all aspects and i see this site as great place to start. So far i've bought up a bit of track and a couple of cars to get going, i'm painting my 1st on now and planning the attack on the track. The thing i have to get used to most is the scale! Everything i've done in the past has been 1/10 or 1/8. not 1/32! which my fat fingers are having a hard time getting used to! i can't wait to be involved thanks for having me...
